Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) offers extensive medical support for patients being treated here, from nutrition services and symptom management to physical therapy and help quitting smoking. Each patient’s experience of treatment is different. The information in this section is offered as a resource for patients and family members. Please talk with your nurse and doctor about specific concerns.


Nutrition

Reliable and accurate advice, classes and information about food and nutrition to help optimize your health and recovery during and after cancer treatment.

Symptom Management

Most patients experience some symptoms, like nausea, fatigue and pain, during treatment. The information in this section is designed to help you manage symptoms.

Physical Therapy

People of any age who are diagnosed with cancer can maximize strength and function during and after cancer treatment with the help of physical therapy.

Psycho-oncology & Sexuality Resources

These resources may help people with cancer who have psychological concerns or concerns related to sexuality and cancer.

Wellness Programs & Classes

SCCA is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our patients. We support patients and caregivers with all aspects of living with cancer.

Smoke-Free Life

Smoke-Free Life is a program available to SCCA patients. You do not have to be in Seattle to participate and benefit from the program. We can meet with you in person or talk on the phone, whichever suits your needs.

Patient Navigators

Patient Navigators are dedicated to directing people with breast cancer to the proper resources to help them handle their concerns so they can focus on getting well.
